Founder and chairman of Shenzhen EngineAI Robotics (est. Oct 2023). Started in IoT devices in 2012, moved into bipedal humanoids in 2016, then co-founded Pengxing Intelligence with XPeng (He Xiaopeng) to work on quadrupeds before building EngineAI. EngineAI makes general-purpose humanoid and quadruped robots with embodied-AI systems for traffic management, security patrols, retail and industrial tasks. On 1 Jun 2026 it opened a 12,000 sqm Shenzhen factory shipping its first T800 humanoids — one unit every 15 minutes, geared for 10,000/year — and on 12 Jun 2026 filed confidentially for a Hong Kong IPO (working with CICC and Citic). An April 2026 Series B of $200M (led by Henan CICC Huirong and Luxshare-ICT) pushed its valuation above 10B yuan ($1.5B).
